Review on Woodlink NASOCK Audubon Thistle Sock by Lory Finley

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Lasted about 5 months of use.

I ordered this sock in February 2016 and took it off sometime in September, I think in the end the string I was hanging it on fell apart completely (I haven't had any problems with birds making holes in the stitches ). I've had great luck with this in my backyard in Chicago - I've got lots of pictures of goldfinches enjoying it and I even saw pine tresses all over that sock lining for a couple of days. One lesson I've learned very well in my short time as a bird watcher is that birds don't eat old and stale nyjer (thistle) - it's very important that it stays fresh. I also have feeders that I fill with nyjer, but I have learned that at least one sock feeding helps attract a wider variety of birds) and unfortunately, despite the small holes, the house sparrows began to empty the feeders quickly.) The attached pictures show this. special sock.
