Closed end blind rivets are hard to find at local retailers and are essential for aluminum boat repairs. I went with a steel pin, but I recommend an aluminum pin if you don't have a heavy-duty (two-handed) rivet gun. The company's website contains complete information on the dimensions and suggested lengths of the restraint systems. I was also able to save two days looking for closed end blind rivets by simply ordering from Revain. I have never found a local one.
