I bought this because I have shoulder surgery and won't be able to use the opener which requires two hands for the next few months. It works pretty well, but when the lid is finally opened, there's a loud bang as the metal hits the bottle. I know it's not really a problem but it still scares me or whoever uses it a little bit. The magnet is very strong and sticks to the lid without any problems. The device is very well built from anodized aluminum. I've been using it for a few weeks and it shows no signs of wear. I recommend.
