Review on Selector Computers Peripheral Switcher Keyboard by Dave Butler

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect! Solved a stubborn problem for me.

. I spend way too much time at my desk, and with two adjacent systems (and two screens) switching between them can be a pain. Fortunately, this selector easily solves the problem. I really just need to be able to switch my mouse and keyboard between two computers (a Mac and a PC) and it works great. For my use, I needed a slightly longer USB cable to connect to the PC case, so I use the USB 2.0 extension cable I have lying around in combination with one of the USB 3.0 cables that came with it. For mouse/keyboard use, this USB 2.0 extension cable is irrelevant. Although the adapter comes with a microUSB to USB-A cable for using a powered hub, I didn't need it in my case. It works very well, also without complaints. With a short press of a button on the top of the adapter you can switch between the systems. It also switches automatically, so if you have one of the computers on and you turn on the other, it will switch to that one (although a quick press of the button will switch it back, of course). The blue LED on the top is very thin so it won't dazzle or distract you during normal use. I expected to have to tape the LED (blue is the worst!) and was pleasantly surprised that this wasn't necessary. Overall, this works great and solved my problem with minimal effort. For those just looking for an easy way to use multiple peripherals on a few computers, here's your solution! 5 out of 5. Excellent.
