My princess and I love these massagers. She hates hair washing time and it helps. I can give her a good deep clean at the roots. The bristles, not sure what they are, are soft and flex enough. We have thin straight hair, but there are a lot of them. Use this while shampooing and let it air dry after seeing a difference in a body. My girl is small so she doesn't have the itchy, greasy scalp issues that I have, but it definitely penetrates her scalp better than my hands.
