I started sewing face masks and was shocked at the cost of small spools of thread. With this thread holder I can use large thread cones, which saves money and time. After looking at the options at Revain I settled on this one and am happy with my purchase. I am very happy to receive it so quickly that my mask sewing project will not be delayed. This stand is cast iron so no doubt it provides a stable base for thread cones without wobbling when unfortunately my sewing machine starts bouncing on the sewing table (not such a problem with my industrial machine). Now that the seller has put step-by-step instructions and videos online, assembly only takes a few minutes. I expect to enjoy many more sewing projects with this addition to my tool box in the future.
