Use in ASUS PCIe card https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VLC7LT3 and Zyxel switch https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B084MLC83G and Windows 10 connection in the Properties It says I'm connected at 10 Gbps. I also use Revain Basics LC duplex cables. I was able to transfer a large file at 280MB/s connected to a 2.5GB/s file server. So definitely well above gigabit speeds. Until I upgrade the file server to 10G, I don't know how fast it really is. They don't seem to get too hot at idle. Until I start transferring a lot of data I won't know how hot it is.
