Review on 🌱 16x6.50-8 Carlisle Turf Saver II Lawn and Garden Tire by Robert Toomey

These are the original tires that came with my MTD tractor. I bought two of these to replace the original tires with leaking sidewalls. They are only two layers, and the sidewalls are very flexible and easily destroyed. .As others have noted, these tires arrived so compressed they were almost flat. It was very difficult to get the bead onto the first wheel assembly. It took several hours to mount the first tire. Mounting the second tire I bought Between the Tubes and used a thousand watt heater to heat the tires to expand the sidewalls. This seemed to work pretty well. If you want to save time and hassle you can take these tires to a tire shop so they will be there when I change these tires again. I buy a 4-ply version which is easier to assemble.
