Review on πŸ“ DFM Square Marking Center Precision: Achieving Spot-on Measurements and Alignment by Mike Modesto

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Poor anodization of measuring and marking tools

Poor anodization is the first thing that struck me right out of the box. You can see in the picture that the larger center hole has a 4mm spot missing or thinly anodized and the bottom hole 90 has a smaller spot. Came wrapped in foam so it was definitely a QC accident. On the positive side, it is very angular and well made. I'll try the exchange and see if I'm lucky next time, if not I'll live with it. I only expect better with the Made in USA seal. But in the end, function triumphs over form. ** To edit. The second one was much better, I like it. Must have tools for my apron. It's great to be able to just quickly pull it out and check the square. I haven't used Center Finder except for testing, and it's a great addition to the tool. I'll order some magnets with a countersink and make a nice pen holder.
