These bulbs are exactly the same type as I have in my ceiling fan and provide very good light for my stove. A piece of advice: since these lamps are suitable for recessed lighting, they are difficult to install. I found the best method online to use a small piece of tape attached to the base of the bulb and then turn the tape clockwise after the bulb is inserted into position. Then it's easy!
