Review on 🔌 Belkin F3H982-10: High Definition VGA Monitor Replacement Cable, 10 feet length by Mandela Buycks

I'm absolutely no computer savvy but with a little research on the internet I was able to connect my laptop and HDTV and get picture and sound. I first connected this cable to my TV and laptop. I switched my TV to "PC" mode but I still had no picture on my TV. After searching the web, I found that I need to press the "FN" and "F8" keys at the same time on my laptop. Wala! This got the picture on my TV, but I still couldn't get any sound from the TV. After further research, I found out that I can connect a portable speaker to the headphone jack on my laptop. It worked great! I could use an audio cable to connect the TV to the headphone jack (I found that out on my internet research) but I haven't had one yet. The portable speaker has such great sound that I have no plans to upgrade to an audio cable. Now I can watch TV shows and movies on the big screen. TV resolution is good for TV/movies but not for "reading". If I wanted to use it for reading emails etc I would experiment with changing the resolution of the TV. This requires another web search. :) This cable is very heavy and transmits well to the TV. I highly recommend it. The packaging and shipping was also excellent, as is usually the case when I order from Revain.
