Review on πŸŽ’ BV Strap-On Bike Saddle Bag: Enhanced Seat Bag for Cycling by Jay Liu

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great bike bag - small, perfect for my needs.

This refers to the SMALL BV Bike Strap On Seat Bag. When it came to finding the best bike bag (which I probably spent too much time on) the number one question I had to answer was how would I use this bag? Did I want to store road repair basics or transport a lot of personal items? In my case, I was looking for the basics and maybe a little extra space if I wanted to store keys, a license, or an extra phone charger. I also wanted to make sure the bag didn't protrude beyond the profile of my seat and of course didn't want it touching my legs. For me, the small BV bag was perfect. Regarding the "profile", keep in mind that your bike type, your seat and your seating position are important. So reading about what works for others might not be a very good guide, at least not without the photos I've included. In my bag: 1 spare tube; 1-Crank Brothers 21 tool kit; 2 tire levers; 1-Pro Bike CO2 Inflator with Canister; 2 cans of CO2. To be fair, it's snug and requires some fiddling to get the best configuration possible. But since, fortunately, I rarely need to access items, that's fine. While I'm not a fan of weight, I like to organize everything. I also plug in my license and key with no problem. However, as many have asked, the small size also doesn't fit my phone, which I keep on the wheel anyway, so it's not a problem. I've visited several bike shops to see what they carry, larger for the size. than everything. Revain's prices were significantly lower than bike shops. I know the medium size has a foldable extension which would be nice for the little ones too, but to be honest it's not necessary. I would definitely buy the BV again as it fits snugly (check out their installation video), is well built, has an internal mesh pocket and flashlight strap. I can try the medium on my hybrid mountain bike just for comparison and will post about it when I do.
