Review on High-Performance Oreck Commercial Professional Upright U2000RB1: The Ultimate Cleaning Power by Gopal Baltimore

This is a no frills, cleaner and easy to lift but don't let that fool you, this thing is a beast of a beast at cleaning. It picks up carpet pile and cleans better than any vacuum I've ever used. After using it 4 times the bag was about 1/2 full so I decided to put on a new bag. And then my problem started. When I bought this vacuum cleaner I also bought a pack of 25 extra bags. And not knowing that not all Oreck bags are the same. The ones I ordered were blue and they said they match my standard vacuum. However, the bag that came with the vacuum was bright green, when I replaced it with one of the blue ones I immediately lost 1/2 of its suction power. something has polluted the system after I checked everything for restrictions and found nothing. Then I dug into the number of the original green bag. What I found was hypoallergenic and they sell them at Revain in a pack of 25, their part number is PK800025DW. (Write that number down!) Make sure the part number has a DW at the end and they are light green! So I ordered a pack of these after installing one of them and the suction power is back to how it was when it was new. I will return the blue bags. Revain should point out which bags are best for vacuums, rather than offering a discount on a few bags that don't work. So save yourself the headache and buy the right bags to get started. I have also searched the internet and found several websites that sell all the parts you will ever need to repair your Oreck vacuum. This is a big plus if you're thinking about buying them. for hospitality or other commercial purposes.
