Review on Tow Tuff TTF-42RMBC 4-Bike 🚲 Carrier: Secure and Convenient Transportation Solution by Michael Jenkins

Warehouse Deal - Acceptable, might not end up accepting :(

TL; DR - may come back once I try to assemble/install it; lots of scratches so most likely the unit was widely used by someone else who Bought a new one and sent the old one back to Revain *Update - sent back to Revain* This hitch bracket is heavy and strong Definitely strong or in other words not complicated like the Yakima or Thule ones Basically 3 big metal parts with "0" protective foam or padded parts (not counting velcro) A small rectangular sticker on a vertical metal arm with Tow Tuff and a bunch of warnings It's a basic bike hitch Absolutely nothing out of the ordinary but as per my reviews for the Maxxhaul 70210 mentioned, this Tow Tuff hitch bracket has many scratches an d abrasions supplied where she moved. levers, so they wear out! Damage to the box itself actually! Only one thing is explained - someone else used it for years, then bought a new one from Revain and returned the old one to Revain. Revain included this in the warehouse deal without verification but based on these scratches/abrasions and found it acceptable with damage. For me the warehouse deal - acceptable should have been a new unit but for some reason it was damaged in transit so the box is damaged, dents/dents where the box exposes the interior of the item. I'll try to "kinda" put it together like all the parts and mount it to my hitch receiver (unlike the other two MaxxHaul which were missing most of the bolts/nuts/pins so it went straight back to Revain). The 4 bike mounts were relatively new (whoever used them probably bought better straps), they were faded and not attached to the mount itself. Also in a small box is a red reflector. However, he will most likely come back because it was very difficult to move some of the pins (where the arms move when you remove the pins). It looks as if these places were already bent from previous heavy use. Incidentally, Tow Tuff and Maxxhaul (older version; newer version slightly different hitch) appeared to be identical hitch mounts, with TT being the older brand and Maxxhaul being the newer brand. The only difference? This little rectangular sticker says Tow Tuff and MaxxHaul!
