Review on 🧢 Authentic Knitting Board KB Baby Knit Looms with 3/8" Gauge: A Versatile Tool for Effortless Baby Knitting by Tara Ford

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The KB machines have become my favorites. Recommend

I started out knitting on looms which are easier to find in local shops (not KB looms). These looms are heavier and the pins are thicker, a little over 5/8 inch apart and notched on the side. I wanted a loom that could use smaller yarns without doubling the strands. I also always like to have the full range of options when picking a project, so I add 3/8" (this product) and 5/8" to my stash. The peg top design makes my stitches easier to work with - but the stitch can also slip off more easily (if you don't want it). I have less of it after getting used to it to work with you. Also, the pins on this item are smaller than those on KB 5/8" looms. So knowing where my starting pin is (pin #1), I put an O-ring on the pin. The brochure says this set is good for making baby hats and booties. The teal loom is 7" (56 needles) in diameter and the small loom is 3" (24 needles) in diameter. I suspect the loom (turquoise) would be used for smaller or Premature babies and possibly American Doll sized dolls will work I don't know if I'll ever make a pair of booties but I'll do with a tiny loom and see what size doll fits (maybe the ones in the barbie size group) The cones on 3/8" looms are smaller than those on 5/8" KB looms. These looms also weigh less than looms from other manufacturers and are very comfortable to hold. In the interests of full disclosure, a friend gave me the same set on the day of delivery. Instead of returning her gift,
