Four and a half stars. Impressive enterprise-class product at a good price. I keep burning home wifi routers. I get bad reception but I usually get two or three years from them. My last TP-Link home WiFi router lasted 3 years and is no longer manufactured. So I had to step up a bit. My job is to be a large combined Wi-Fi hotspot corporate network that works great. It uses Cisco hardware, which is pretty slick and unobtrusive. This device is quite large, but if you mount it on the ceiling, it will not cause much discomfort. It comes with great customization software. It allows you to set up a multi-host Wi-Fi access network using multiple hosts. For a business that spans a large area, this is a great way to make everything "just work" and allow people to move around without having to know multiple hotspots on their devices just to get work done to do. I bought it because it is an enterprise class product with a business oriented warranty. Most devices come with a one or two year warranty. TP-Link is truly committed to the business of the business community and backs it with a "Limited Lifetime" Warranty. Well worth it in my opinion, especially at $60 (as of 07/08/2017). Please, please, please: buy a PoE power injector for this. If you don't know what it is, it's a small (relatively) power adapter that you place next to your network router. You then plug it in and run network cables through it. Now you have the opportunity to power this device that is fully compatible with PoE (Power over Ethernet). Now you only have one wire going there and you're not trying to figure out how to get power from this device that contains a "wall wart" power supply. If you can run ethernet cables in your attic (home) or have a ceiling with hanging panels for cable management, then this thing just becomes a thing that attaches to your office ceiling with a hidden cable. Why only four and a half stars? ? It's just too big. Not a bad thing and not ugly with antennae growing everywhere. Just a little "lumpy". Again not bad. And who cares about this price? Definitely recommended for low cost business wifi or even home use (like me). Act!
