I was really looking forward to this opener. Unfortunately, that doesn't really work. I tried it on the first can, it took a few tries before I realized that it wasn't an automatic start, we had to keep the button pressed the entire time. With the second can, we had to go through the same cut multiple times before the can finally opened. Pretty disappointing. I was looking for something that would cut reliably (which this product doesn't) and preferably something that would save me time in the kitchen (ie work automatically without having to hold down a button and stop automatically).
