Review on 🧷 Lacis CC32 Corjac Tack Set by Edgardo Ennis

Not such a sticky set.

This mitt set is a cat butt. This set allows you to install and remove upholstery nails in place of cork board nails, although you can use it for that as well. The installation tool/awl they give you to insert the buttons is magnetized to hold the buttons while you insert them. The wooden handle is ergonomically designed to fit snugly in your palm and is a natural extension of your hand. You can use this item for upholstery work all day long. The removal tool will do what it's designed to do, but the handle is too short in my opinion to be really effective for removing more than a few buttons at a time since it's only about four inches long. The same goes for the awl, it's too short. This tool is designed for driving nails and FLAT TOP buttons. You get a large supply of 3/8" (6mm) short nails (or upholstery nails) along with the kit as well as AWL and a removal tool. The tools are well made except the AWL is for FLAT TOP buttons or upholstery nails. You MUST provide you with an adapter for inserting domed and domed nails as almost all upholstery nails and nails are designed for this. A 32mm O-ring on the tool's magnetic flat head allows for domed nails and thumbtacks to be inserted. O -Rings are available at full service hardware stores such as ACE Hardware where you can purchase individual screws and other hardware or alternatively a pack of O-rings First degrease the instrument head with some rubbing alcohol or acetone and then glue the O-ring with a standard one Superglue such as Loctite brand precision superglue to the instrument head This is the same material manufacturers use in the factory to bond the O-R tend to stick together when they craft them, so it works really well with rubber parts. This adjustment allows for the insertion of domed-tipped nails and buttons, but then you may not be able to use them with flat-topped potholders. The set is so great for the price, buy two and use one for flat tacks and a modified tool for tacks and curved tacks. This is incredible value for money. tool set.
