Batteries were not included as I thought but overall they are amazing. Even the first shot on it is really bright and you can use it for the front and back cameras (I used the back camera for the makeup video). When you use it along with the camera flash you already have on your phone it gives a warmer glow, while when you just use the ring light it's whiter.
