I love this build that was built to last. I also like that it's serviceable if something breaks, but I think it will last a long time if no liquids are allowed to get inside. The vacuum readings appear accurate although I have not measured them or compared them to other gauges I have. My last block was also aluminum, but after 30 years of use and a couple of falls onto the concrete floor, it broke and was beyond repair. So I got this one as a replacement and it worked great using it twice. I have used it with a siphon system to drain/bleed brake fluid. The only thing I didn't like was the price, but it almost paid for itself. But I would still recommend it to a friend
