The original screen I had was badly broken. It was in a big case with a protective shield built in, so technically it was still usable, but it just looked awful. Bought this replacement screen to fix this situation. The replacement screen had a white frame instead of the device's original black frame, but I think they offer both types. I've never replaced a screen before, but I ended up watching a free tutorial video on YouTube and a little patience and care. Work, the process wasn't all that difficult. When everything was ready, the device worked like clockwork and looked like new. I used some superglue gel (not included) along with the included self-adhesive tape to ensure a strong bond.
