So far so good. I received the watch yesterday. Charged with 4 C batteries, automatically wound up to 4:00 p.m. shortly after the first two batteries were installed, and then stayed there for at least 30 minutes. I'm tired of waiting for it to come to life and putting it aside. I don't know exactly how long it took to sync, but it took about an hour. The clock appears to be ticking louder at 15, 30, and 45 second intervals - I think that's when the minute hand moves a little. The ticking on the wall is quite good. I wouldn't put this in a bedroom, but I think it would work well in an office where you still have white noise. There are clips on the back that are easy to pull out if you want to remove the bezel and glass. front for some reason. Setting the time zone is pretty easy - and this one works in any time zone, not just US time zones (like most others I've found). This is important to me because I've ordered more to keep us queuing at our office to show different times for the different US and international time zones we work in. how easy it is to remove the front screen and the glass panel for this purpose. [Update] I put 5 of these on our wall and decided to order a label/name tag to put under each clock. You look great! No audible ticking like ours - and a super added bonus when you use them all - the second hand on each clock is perfectly timed!
