I have bought these for my mother twice over the years and they have held up great. We are a family that cooks a lot and these towels not only have to handle everyday use but also a lavish vacation. These are good towels, no doubt. The only problem I have is with the first use, they need to be rinsed off a time or two before use or they don't absorb well. I don't know what's going on but after washing they suck up any dirt or grime like little soldiers. I highly recommend these towels to people who spend a lot of time in the kitchen! (Also, towels don't cut easily; I tested this after drying the knife and was afraid of cutting the fabric. I didn't, and I had to work hard to cut the fabric of the towel with a very sharp kitchen pierce knives. Seriously, these towels are amazing.)
