Reads backwards sc F=empty and E=full. And no, the cables are not reversed. I tried swapping hot and ground. It just hisses and stays there. Everything works fine, just the other way around. It doesn't bother me, and if someone steals my car, at least they'll stand on the side of the road and wonder why it stopped with a full tank.
