Rough texture. A very "different " but nice experience

This is a very good quality 100% cotton watercolor paper. It's a good thickness and I think you'll get a lot of sheets for the price, but there are a few things to consider before you buy. 1. It's called cold pressed, but the texture of cold pressed is closer to rough watercolor paper. As you can see from the pictures it is very textured which gives a nice effect but can be difficult to work with if you are not used to it.2. I've found that I use a lot more water with this paper and it's harder for me to work with a dry brush. This may be due to the texture; I'm not sure.3. This buckle paper is glued fairly evenly. Which can make it difficult to create full-fledged fragments on it. I have to use a lot of water to get some of the effects I want, so this can be annoying. Working with small fragments of a subject seems to be better than working with a complete illustration.4. This paper creates beautiful flowers using the wet-on-wet technique and I love the many effects you can create with the paper texture. I really enjoy experimenting with it and getting really good results! Overall this is a really good paper for the price but be aware that you may need to work differently than other cold pressed watercolor papers. It will take some time to get used to.
