Great Reusable Watercolor Paper

I bought this to do an emulsion facelift using polaroid photos. The paper is great. The paper has a nice texture and high density. It handles moisture just like I hoped it would. I completely submerge the paper in water for a while, going from hot to cold water. The paper adheres very well and dries very well, returning to its original state. If you are a watercolor artist I can't imagine this wouldn't work for you. I would definitely recommend and will definitely buy again without having to…

Pros
  • 🎨 Cold Pressed Watercolor Paper: Ideal for detailed work and smooth shading, suitable for beginners and experienced artists alike.
Cons
  • A few little things

Great for the price!

I am a semi-professional watercolor painter. I usually use Arches 140# cold pressed paper. I tried it because of the price and the photos of the sheets. So far I've drawn 2 landscapes and I have to honestly say that this paper is close in quality to Arches, but not by a decent amount! I personally prefer blocks as you don't have to staple a sheet to the board. Corrosion is minimal as I usually paint wet on wet. All blocks do this unless you use heavier paper. It is also excellent for the dry…

Pros
  • 🎨 Artistic Quality Watercolor Paper Pad: It is made of 50% cotton and acid-free, which will keep your beautiful artwork for a long time.
Cons
  • Expensive

Rough texture. A very "different " but nice experience

This is a very good quality 100% cotton watercolor paper. It's a good thickness and I think you'll get a lot of sheets for the price, but there are a few things to consider before you buy. 1. It's called cold pressed, but the texture of cold pressed is closer to rough watercolor paper. As you can see from the pictures it is very textured which gives a nice effect but can be difficult to work with if you are not used to it.2. I've found that I use a lot more water with this paper and it's harder

Pros
  • 🎨 Watercolor Paper Pad: Handy if you don't want to stretch your watercolor paper and handy to take with you on vacation or travel.
Cons
  • Available in white only
