I am a semi-professional watercolor painter. I usually use Arches 140# cold pressed paper. I tried it because of the price and the photos of the sheets. So far I've drawn 2 landscapes and I have to honestly say that this paper is close in quality to Arches, but not by a decent amount! I personally prefer blocks as you don't have to staple a sheet to the board. Corrosion is minimal as I usually paint wet on wet. All blocks do this unless you use heavier paper. It is also excellent for the dry brush technique. I am very impressed with this Paul Rubens watercolor paper and highly recommend it to both amateur and professional artists! Thanks for a great product.
