This case is good in every way except one. The iPad mini 4's ambient light sensor is located under the glass in the upper-right corner of the screen and is covered by the front plastic portion of the case. This renders the auto-brightness feature useless. (To see the sensor: Thoroughly clean the screen, go into a dark room, and shine a flashlight on the screen. Adjust the angle until you see a pin-sized area with a different texture. ) To fix this I had to use a soldering iron to make a hole in the plastic to expose this sensor. A drill will also work. The hole should be next to the magnet on the back of the plastic.
