Awesome gauge! It used an older version of the AMP meter line that didn't have half the features of this one. The best features of this meter are the large backlit display, the optional DC clamp built into the main clamp and it runs on 2 AA batteries unlike the CR2032 in older models. In addition, the rotary selector has a great click and feel at the breakaway point. And finally, testing the direction of the motor and cables is awesome! All leads are color coded and have alligator style rubber caps that snap easily onto the ends of the test leads, making using hard to reach test points a pleasure! Wednesday 90 dB. The only thing that worries me is trying to select the correct metering mode. While I certainly appreciate all the features available, making sure the jog dial is in the correct position and I've pressed the select button the correct number of times gave me a few false flags.
