Great for gaming, working, or watching movies, this curved widescreen monitor is probably the most valuable if you have it on sale. I bought it for just under $600 and it seems like a price that has been fluctuating for a while. The monitor has built-in speakers, although I wouldn't recommend using them for anything other than as a last resort. A pair of Logitech or other good $50-$100 speakers are much better as they have little to no bass. But then the presence of this monitor for the speakers does not matter. This is a 34" screen that allows you to combine two 24" monitors into one - I replaced a 24" widescreen Dell monitor with this 34" monitor. The increased resolution is a godsend for gaming, and the extra screen real estate allows you to open and work in multiple windows at once. There are multiple ways to connect this to a computer and all the necessary cables are included which is a bonus. There's also a USB port for connecting a phone or other low-power device. Setting up the monitor is very easy, literally, just by attaching the back of the monitor to the base. Keep in mind that this is a desktop hog, so make sure you have enough space, which is what you should do as a multi-monitor user.
