I give my kittens about 2 months, now they are 8 months old. My boy has lost hair on his shoulders but my girl is fine. Winston, my feline son, hid all day and seemed melancholy the whole time. He came out at night to snuggle up against my chest, but that was about it. If he could, he could lie on me for hours at night, but during the day he was absent. I decided to stop giving them lysine as it causes allergic reactions in some cats. Today is the 3rd day without Lysine and yesterday I already noticed a change in his behavior and saw him more during the day. He was gone all day today, laying next to the sliding glass door, getting love and even jumping on his sister a bit. He ate his breakfast and is acting like a normal cat again and I'm so happy. I think there should be an allergy warning on this product explaining what to look out for. While it didn't seem to bother his sister, it did affect him and for about 4 weeks he wasn't a happy kitten.
