It's cute, pretty and would do exactly what I need it to do if it worked. The display indicates that the power is 1000 watts. I checked this very carefully before ordering as I needed this for a 500w stage light. Got the first one, plugged it in, it worked, loved it. The next day the switch stopped working. Returned for another. I got a second plug, plugged it in, everything worked. The next day the switch stopped working. Then I looked at the box and it has 1000w resistive power and 300w tungsten power rating. So, I think my light is too watt for that. You should change the ad. In the meantime, I'm posting this here so as not to fool anyone.
