Review on 🖍️ Organic FILANA Beeswax Block Crayons: Non-Toxic, Handmade in the US, Rich Colors & Easy Glide by Angela Rodriguez

This is our first block pin experience. I bought egg shaped crayons for my eldest when he was younger (now 6) but he never seemed to like them and they were awful to color with. It's awkward to hold and just doesn't color very well. When I discovered crayons the first brand I found was Stockmar but after seeing Filana crayons and that they contain a higher percentage of beeswax than Stockmar I decided to try them first. These crayons are wonderful. They were well packaged - there were no broken or chipped crayons in our box. My kids were so excited to use them I couldn't take a picture of them before they colored them, but I did snap some action shots and a photo of all the crayons in their box after a few uses. My boys are VERY bad with crayons and Crayola sticks just don't work for them right now. The younger one immediately starts breaking them, and the older one breaks them too, although not on purpose. These block crayons have proven themselves and are excellently used by children under 2 and 6 years old. Thanks to their shape, they are easy for both children to hold and use. I was expecting them to be a bit larger, but as this is my first experience with beeswax crayons I didn't have anything comparable in size. On the other end of the spectrum are crayon eggs, which are so big my kids find them difficult to hold and easy to use. We all enjoy painting with them because they move very smoothly on paper and colors can be combined. and fit together perfectly. They also feel good in the hand. We are very happy with these crayons and will definitely be buying them again when the time comes although I'm sure they will last. When both boys are older and past the crayon stage I'll probably get a pack of Filana Crayons to add to our art supplies.
