These $13 crayons are good. There's a decent range of colors out there and they match well. Judging by the reviews, I was expecting a pleasant surprise, so I was probably a bit disappointed. But they were pretty cheap, especially for anything that comes in a can. Pros: The tin is pretty and very durable. Good quality sharpener. Decent color choices. The collection of various tools (quills, sanding board, colored pastels and eraser) is of decent quality. Cons: The quality of the pencil is mediocre. Not terrible, but no better than the cheapest children's brand. The supplied eraser is actually more intended for charcoal drawings and is basically useless for this medium. A variety of colors, but some of them practically do not differ after application. All in all, this is a good little kit for an aspiring artist or someone who just wants a handy hobby kit, and definitely worth the price. If you're looking for something portable and cheap, you could probably do worse.
