After less than an hour of charging my older generation Apple Watch with a stainless steel case and sapphire crystal, the magnetic circuit becomes so hot and/or strong that it came off when trying to remove the watch, Remaining glued in a circle. I paid $99 for a Belkin PowerHouse charger recommended by an Apple employee two days earlier. By the way, the price of the charger dropped $20 the next day. I'm so pissed. My trusty watch was permanently damaged after just 30 minutes of charging this expensive Belkin product.
