I love homemade iced tea. I needed a jug to pour very hot or very cold water into. It can withstand hot liquids up to 300 degrees. I'm also the only one who drinks homemade tea, so I don't need anything too big. This pitcher is perfect for all of those needs. And the style is so elegant and the handle design is great, easy to carry and convenient. The lid closes tightly to prevent spills and there is a slot on the lid that you can twist if you don't want the ice cream falling out. The only very minor complaint I have is that the spout of the jug is always open. If you turn the lid, it either stands on the long hole or on the usual small pouring hole. Although it is not an obstacle for me. The jug is beautiful. It was a great price too. I am very happy with my purchase.
