Review on πŸš— Enhance Performance and Comfort with SSR 204 40 SumoSprings for Chevrolet Suburban Express by Justin Vasquez

Easy installation, works well!

I recently got a set of these SumoSprings for my 2002 Tahoe and was amazed at how well they work! Installation was fairly easy, but you will most likely need to use a wire brush to clean the holding cups before installing them. After cleaning I lubricated the tab on the spring to help it snap and fit better. I'm towing a 7000 pound camper on my Tahoe that's pushing the limits of my truck and those springs have changed the world. Pros: The sag in the rear is gone now and the camper wobbles a lot less than before. The steering now feels better as the truck is smoother. Cons: With a load on a truck, you tend to feel every bump in the road since your suspension rides mostly on the bumpers. It's not a big problem but I thought it was worth a look as I live in Illinois and the roads are usually pretty rough, especially after the winter! I have previously tried the Air Ride 1000 airbag kit on a Tahoe which resulted in a crash. They were very difficult to install and on the third use one of the packages actually broke. These SumoSprings should never fail as they have no moving parts and are made entirely of closed cell foam. Until I can afford to buy a better tractor I think this will make my life a lot easier.
