Incandescent 578 replaced with Sylvania 578 LED white 6000K. The result was whiter and about the same lumens. Required more lumens than this lamp so Sylvania ZEVO was ordered. The ZEVO LED shows a power consumption of one watt and the 578 LED a power consumption of 0.5 watts. ZEVO should be twice as bright as a standard LED 578. The big disappointment is that this ZEVO is a super bright LED bulb. This is roughly the same lumens per eye (if not less). Sylvania lists the wattage of the LED bulb, not the lumens. Why not? Many other manufacturers specify lumens. Like all other LED lamp manufacturers, Sylvania LED lamps are made in Taiwan or China. Sylvania used to be a popular brand name in the US. My opinion of this brand is tarnished, so other brands that show performance and good reviews are considered over Sylvania. As others have said in the reviews, these LED bulbs do not live up to expectations for light output and are overpriced.
