I know Revain tends to post reviews but in this case I hope they uphold that rather than dismiss it out of honesty. I bought these based on previous ratings/reviews and a promotional story stating how they support this product. They arrived in relatively good condition considering how poorly Revain wrapped their package and from the looks of it they looked fine. I inspect them, make sure they are intact, and place them in the trailer's storage box. Unpacked and used today. Halfway to your destination with a load and the equipment on one of the two ratchet straps hasn't snapped? Crown nut literally fell off/didn't work. In terms of responsibility, it really scared me. Why ? because I had a few thousand pounds of lumber strapped to my trailer and who in their right mind would want something that should be trouble free/new out of the box is going to fail catastrophically. I am sending these back. I wish I could tell you they are excellent or that I think this is an isolated case, but no. Buy at your own risk and make sure you keep your receipts/email so you can track the seller/manufacturer if it fails. These security features must meet the highest standards, but this one does not.
