Review on 🌑️ WAYSEAR Professional Radiation Detector Dosimeters: Accurate Radiation Measurement Tools for Enhanced Safety by Anthony Heinrichs

Good for its purpose cheap almost disposable Geiger

It's perfect if your expectations match what is what is a geiger counter below $100. Generally decent ones start at 3x and go MUCH higher. It's got a decent handset for such a cheap meter and a great screen. Unfortunately, this screen shows almost nothing. That gives you Sievert and that's it. No alpha particles will hit its tube, but its beta and gamma detection seems pretty good for such cheap electronics. They're basically just a plastic box with a fancy screen. The buttons offer almost no options. Enable or disable the alarm, restart its averaging, disable or enable it. But . . . It's great to have such a cheap counter - I can take it anywhere without worrying too much about it. It has a nice, easy-to-read screen, you can't control the volume, but the clicking isn't loud enough to be rude in public. If he alerts me to something interesting, I can pull out a more sensitive gauge. I'm glad I bought it.

Pros
  • nuclear detector marble/uranium monitor/iodine particle/calcium uranium mica measurement
Cons
