I usually run my RPis open, but with heat sinks. I saw the iUniker Pi 4 case with the large 4007 fan and heatsink as an opportunity to get a pretty nice aesthetic upgrade when switching to a sealed case. Spring. No matter how nice the case looks, the fan will not work without washers. I had a few on hand, but it's still a pretty unfortunate oversight in terms of design. I decided to replace the case screws with some protruding hex head screws that really give off an industrial vibe. Between the fans and the heatsink, I haven't had any thermal issues with my RPi.
