Review on πŸŽ’ Victorinox Comfort Shoulder Strap Black: Optimal Support for On-the-Go Convenience by Russell Mahendra

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is the best bracelet I have found

[Please note this bracelet has been updated since May 2016 the images on Revain are not the same.] The image shows Victorinox ( old design), Victorinox (current design) and Op-Tech SOS (purchased in May 2016). I've been a fan of this Victorinox strap for over 12 years, I've looked through probably 3-4 briefcases and 5-6 of these. Belt. This is the best strap I have found, better than Tumi and better than Op-Tech SOS. I bought it to replace the previous version of the strap (which had broken hardware), Tech SOS for comparison in the pictures. What stays the same: - Exactly the same shoulder/anti-slip configuration. What's changed: - The real waist part is made of smoother and thinner thread, looks better. - Metal fittings, like a clasp/clip that allows you to adjust the size and clip yourself. The metal is now slightly thinner, has a surface texture and is a very dark bronze (compared to the original black). Hook also now has hook storage material - TBD if that's an improvement. Is it better - it looks better than the old Victorinox, but the durability is tested: 1) On the old Victorinox briefcase, the bearing material was on the buckle of the bag, the metal hook wore out this material over time and then started to creak . The photo shows the wear on the metal of the hook of my old strap, the wear on the bag buckle is worse. 2) The adjustable bail on the strap is a traditional weak point of Victorinox design. , that was the part that always broke first on my straps, you can see it broke in my photo. After breaking, the tape stretches to the end. (So I'm going to use this strap on a larger bag and put a spare in my briefcase). Compared to Op-Tech SOS, Victorinox looks much better and higher quality in my opinion. I am worried that the SOS non-slip surface will not be durable. SOS also has a large extent.
