Haven't used it camping yet. I needed this to give me the few extra feet I need to hook up my RV. I have a grounded outlet in the back of my garage and needed an extra 7 feet. I like to pre-cool the fridge before a trip or test devices in the motor home before the annual inspection. Before buying it, I had to pull the motorhome forward and partially park it on the lawn, which I don't like doing. The 15 amp adapter I have also fits perfectly. Good to know it works well if I ever need to use it while camping. The storage bag is just adorable and I use it for shopping - it's too cute to hold an extension cord. I keep it in a sturdy tote bag from a previous Revain purchase and it fits nicely in my RV's storage compartment. Highly recommended.
