Review on Rechargeable Digital Noise Cancelling Hearing Aid BLJ-109 - Banglijian (1 Unit) by Brian Manfre

I've been aware of hearing loss for years and now I'm at the point where conversations are harder to understand. I can hear and play music but I'd like more volume for conversation, especially in company. Crowded rooms or conversation between rooms is now difficult for me.This hearing aid is cheap but effective. The medical ones cost thousands, the battery replacements are expensive and there is really no excuse for this kind of expense in the age of micro-electronics. The Banglijian rechargeable unit is comfortable and I can't see it under my hair (it fits behind the ear rather like the older style hearing aids) and you can choose a thin tube with a stabilizer plastic wire, ear bud domes to customize the fit. It is VERY comfortable. There are 10 different ear "domes" to find one that will fit your ear canal. A cleaning kit is also included, to remove ear wax that accumulates in the tube.I put it in my good ear but I really got excellent results with the ear that is not so good. I can hear:My footsteps are louderCrinkling of paperThe key taps on my mechanical keyboard.While I'm typing, I can hear my air conditioner but it sounds about the same. The key taps, however, are much much more distinct and much louder.I played something on my guitar (a classical) and though the sound was not quite as good (the highs were more emphasized and the sound of the fingers squeaking a bit on the wound strings was louder) it was quite acceptable.No buzzing or ringing. Not much background noise.Operation and setup are simple. Charge with a micro USB cord and wall charger (included) or charge on a USB port. Takes less than an hour to get to full charge.A nice-looking tiny case (like a very tiny eyeglass case) is included.For the cost of this unit, you can experiment with hearing amplification without spending thousands. Since hearing aids are not covered by medical insurance, you can save a lot and though I haven't used the in-ear expensive kind, I'm quite thrilled with the amplification I'm getting with this unit. At 100X less the cost (!) worth trying out.
