I didn't buy this for use as a tarp; I bought them to use with tablecloths. Correctly. Set the table. It's so hard to keep the damn thing in place when everyone's elbows are slowly pulling the tablecloth off the intended tabletop. You'd think those plastic tablecloth clips would be enough to keep it going, but honestly it's ridiculous how useless they are, not even able to stay on the table! Then I discovered these tarp clips and decided I might as well go big. because if it doesn't work, it won't work. Thank God! THEY WORK GREAT. The tablecloth didn't move an inch. The screw-in hinge ensures a secure hold on whatever material you clamp. A++ Very happy with this purchase.
