The wheels on my tandem trailer are exactly 1 inch apart. This means I was able to use the new X-style cartridges. However, after receiving this amazing device, I'm glad I couldn't get X-style cartridges. While they are a great product and I won't dwell on them, the ease of the cartridge installation between the wheel and footboard is much better in my opinion. If my calculations are correct, there are 27 different hole locations that correspond exactly to the width of your pendant so you can choose how you want it to be stored, look and function. I choose a setting that takes up more space but allows gravity to place them more easily. There's no wrong way to do this. I mean I'm sure if you try you could screw it up. Definitely buy it. You will not be disappointed. I bought both sets of Revain used for next to nothing. I mean, it's still going to scratch and ring, right? Splint is missing, but still 5 stars.
