15 sets metal bath bomb molds in 3 sizes - works 50% of the time maybe user error

bath bombs. It seems easy to make, but you have to tweak the recipe to your liking, and there's an "art" to making the balls pretty. Bought this set a few years ago. I love that we have an option for three different sizes (you'll feel for yourself which one works best). A lot of recipes tell you to wait a while before taking them out of the molds, so it's good to have multiple molds when making a batch at once. My son loves to make things with his own hands and we have been making bath bombs together with these molds every year for the past few years. Maybe it's time to try another brand/style. We tried many different recipes. Getting bath bombs to come out whole and nice and spherical is very difficult. We have so many failed attempts that we end up just throwing the "bad" bomb ingredients in the tub and we're done. Our success rate is probably around 50%. I've found that if they come out good, we remove them at the right time before they "stretch" too much. The lines around the center are hard to avoid, but sometimes we managed to smooth them out and sometimes we broke them trying. I'm open to suggestions please (help!).
