I wanted to have a portable radio in bed when listening to talk shows at night. For around 20 euros you can't expect a high-quality portable radio. When I picked it up, I was struck by the inferior material of the radio case. I wanted to buy it because it uses AA batteries. This was the most important criterion when buying this radio. Radios that run on AA batteries have a longer lifespan than those that run on AAA batteries. Unfortunately, most portable radios on the market today run on AAA batteries. It is annoying to have to change batteries frequently. The sound quality is normal for such a small radio. AM and FM reception is above average. The AM reception is particularly impressive. ADVANTAGES: - DSP (Digital Signal Processing) provides intelligent frequency control and intelligent noise reduction - Three preset buttons (3 for AM - 3 for FM). Not every radio of this size has them - Alarm clock - Power indicator (Nice feature and you don't find it in cheap portable radios) - Sleep timer function (I like to fall asleep while listening to the radio so this is a big plus for me ) - Backlit LCD screen (Very important when listening to the radio in the dark) - Very light and portable CONS: - You cannot delete preset stations. That doesn't work - Only 10 kHz steps on AM - Cheap housing material - Short antenna In the end I'm satisfied with this radio. I thank the seller for the fast delivery.
