As someone who grew up with LEGO I can honestly say that this set was a huge disappointment to me. It's like they took some leftovers from other kits and really put an effort into making something out of it. The parts themselves are of good quality and match well-known brands of LEGO, but this set is simply disappointing. It's not that the directions are hard to follow, they really aren't. The problem is that they don't make any sense. Places parts in unnecessary places just to fill the space while the whole ship is pretty flimsy and falls apart when you try to move it. The set also included small pistols, but no Lego figures, and they are not depicted anywhere in the instructions or on the box. In any case, the ship itself isn't big enough for Lego people, like most other vehicles. It's like someone seeing photos of these Lego items from another well-known brand and then trying to reconstruct them to look similar just to be able to sell them. 100% do not recommend spending money on it unless your child wants to use their imagination to do what they want. Rather spend a little more for real LEGOs.
