I bought this product for the same reason I bought CFLs - to save on my electricity bills. I had a water aerator that came with the kitchen sink in my apartment but to get real pressure from my sink to get rid of access to food on plates etc I had to turn the pressure up all the way. With this product I only have to turn it 1/4 and I can clean everything in the sink. I bought it for water pressure and it worked, but if you're buying it because you want more portability from the sink (spraying more surface area) then this isn't the best option. It has a range of motion that's fine when you're trying to keep the rest of the counter wet and tilting it at a certain angle, but it's not enough to mimic a spray nozzle in your sink.
